Danny Barros is the Founder and President of Hitskope Music Group. He is a passionate visionary with over a decade of successful artist management and music marketing experience. Originally from Boston, Danny is a graduate of Music Business at Berklee College of Music and holds a Professional Certification in Digital Marketing from Cornell University.
Featured in VICE, BuzzFeed, and Forbes Magazine, Danny has a long track record of industry success. He is an active member of the Recording Academy, Music Business Association, The American Association of Independent Music, and the Music Managers Forum US. Danny has been appointed by the Recording Academy as a GRAMMY U mentor, where he advises and guides music business students.
In 2006, Barros co-founded the D-Squared Entertainment Group, which quickly became one of New England's major promotion and talent agencies. During his time at D-Squared, Danny produced 500+ live shows, regularly negotiating and planning performances for A-list artists such as Ed Sheeran, LMFAO, Chris Brown, Steve Aoki, and T-Pain.
